This seems like a really good price, heat added.

I need to get my girlfriend a new phone as her Samsung battery life is next to useless now. Is this the best phone to get around this price? There is plenty of competition around. I would really appreciate it if someone in the mobile know how would reccomned a decent phone for the £50 - £80 mark. The models I have shortlisted are;

Samsung Tocco Lite
Samsung Genio
LG KP500 Cookie

The mobile would need to work on Vodafone.

Cheers in advance

Ive just got the LG KU990 and in the process of selling my Tocco Lite.

It was a ok phone the camera and internet are terrible, the KU990 is a older but slightly better handset.

The Genio is another nice looking little phone but with even less features, but would be my choice for a girl, small enough for the purse and bags they carry.

get her the tocco lite, it has good features and looks the most expensive. Genio is not that good, whilst the lg cookie looks rather cheap.

This was posted a while back for a cheaper price and I bought one. Wish I hadn't all these touch screen phones are bloody annoying if you ask me. Stick to conventional phones is my advice but each to their own.

I had a Tocco now have the Cookie and the touch screen for the Cookie "personally" leaves the Tocco standing, though the features on the Tocco seem more "glamourous".
Overall I am very pleased with the Cookie, however I purchased for £49 -£10 Quidco -£10 inclusive topup, totalling the phone at £29 (refurb) which was purchased from a previous post.
Though the phone was refurb, it never had a mark on it, all sealed and packaged..
Personally I would pay the £69ish for the phone as it really is a nice friendly phone.
