This is ok, but then you still have to get the powermat adapters for each one of your gadgets which are expensive for what they are! Works out very expensive to charge your gadgets.

so £70 to save you plugging your phone into its charger

Edit So £100 because the receivers are £30 each

Yes but it is the future of wireless charging; you have to start somewhere. :D

I agree but you'd have thought that if the manufacturers wanted to get this going with really strong sales they'd have given one or two adapters away with it

They started years ago with this, Toothbrushs have had a similar charger for years

Don't forget you will need 3, 1 each for the home, office and car

Before I start I am not having a go at this post just the product...

I looked into these and they didn't bode well... Instead of plugging in an item you have to attach an 'adapter' to it which, if you have a nice slim phone is horrible! For the sake of plugging it in an hour every couple of days I will live without the semi-permanent attachment. That and you have to buy a £30 adapter for every item you wish to use with it.

This is a great tech but really needs more development before it becomes viable. If you really want one of these I would wait a while as I doubt this particular product will take off and will be discounted soon!

Developers are looking at integrating this tech into furniture and worktops. I’ll wait for that...

Before this gets too big they are working on gadgets that charge from human body ( static and movement ) so no need from any charger,
