- The £3 takeaway discount for Metro newspaper readers is back on again! The deal was ran during the summer for a few months then stopped. However I tried it again tonight and it worked.
You have to make your order on the Just Eat website, which is linked to 2,800 national takeaways, and pay by card to get the discount. There is a small 40p charge for using your card though. However I often get donnor kebabs from our local takeaway and these are priced at £3.70 in the shop but only £3.30 online, so that makes up for the card charges for me.
I've put £7 as the minimum spend since all the takeaways in our area seem to require a £7 spend to qualify for free home delivery. Not sure if it's the exact same price elsewhere but presumably will be something similar.
If you want to use the voucher more than once just input a different phone number when ordering. The name and address details can remain the same.

Hey! Just figured out there's a way of using the same phone number twice!! What you need to do is substitute the prefix "0" at the begining of the number to the international dialing code "0044".
eg. Change your number from the normal 07123456789 to 00447123456789 etc... It still works perfectly fine dialing the international dialing code within the UK and allows you to use your normal number for more than one order!  |
