not sure mate it should do as a htc hero and google g1 does but it wont have built in 3 apps such as skype and my3 etc but there is usually a way round

It should work fine with 3, as it's just a question of switching sim cards around. All the hype over Skype, MSN etc... with 3 is that they install it prior to dispatching. Contact a local 3 store and ask them over the phone. When you've done that, ring another couple of branches and you'll get a general consensus whether they know what they're talking about. They'll set you straight.

Side note - How would you get it unlocked by T-Mobile? They wanted to charge me £15 despite finishing my 18 month contract with them. They take the ****, they really do. I'm trying to get Vodafone to get the unlock codes from Samsung via another method, but it's taking forever.

cant say for sure unless i open it and i'd rather leave it sealed (if i open it ill end up keeping it )
as i said i was told it will be sim free but either way once unlocked it will work on 3 you just have to do a bit of jiggery pokery to get your 3 apps set up

i was told it would be sim free out of the box but on the chance it is locked i was to email my imei number and a code would be sent straight away

as i obviously cant check without opening the box i think it best i say it's on
t-mobile
