It should work fine with 3, as it's just a question of switching sim cards around. All the hype over Skype, MSN etc... with 3 is that they install it prior to dispatching. Contact a local 3 store and ask them over the phone. When you've done that, ring another couple of branches and you'll get a general consensus whether they know what they're talking about. They'll set you straight.

Side note - How would you get it unlocked by T-Mobile? They wanted to charge me £15 despite finishing my 18 month contract with them. They take the ****, they really do. I'm trying to get Vodafone to get the unlock codes from Samsung via another method, but it's taking forever.
i was told it would be sim free out of the box but on the chance it is locked i was to email my imei number and a code would be sent straight away
as i obviously cant check without opening the box i think it best i say it's on
t-mobile
