I've had three cases (two suitcases and a drag bag) from these on three different occasions this year and they've all been reduced from something in the region of £120 to about £25. Real bargains, but I just assumed that their stuff was always reduced, bit like sports direct! Must have been lucky and kept dropping on

I bought 3 last year of which 2 broke - most disappointed - they are definitely not worth the RRP they state. Would not buy again so I have not voted.

I am going to see if the 15 year guarantee stands up

Yes - always reduced so the original price is a nonsense. Price is cheap - quality is cheap - akin to no name market stall quality. Quality - mediocre, locks and zips always a problem.. Guarantee - can't find anything on the site stating 15 years - where did this come from? Get your bags from Tesco - cheap, nasty but no quibble if they break. Or buy a good quality bag.

Pretty poor quality imo. I too was suckered in by the "RRP". Never again!

More 'mug bait' branded luggage from Debenhams. They must think their customers are more stupid than other stores'.

It doesn't matter how much you pay for your luggage or what 'designer' brand is on it, Ryanair, etc will ruin it anyway. Your fellow passengers won't be impressed - they'll just think you're stupid.

Buy some good, strong stuff from a market stall or wherever and hope it survives a few trips!

Sorry, but in my experience these cases are not poor quality as some have suggested, and certainly couldn't be described as "market stall quality"! I would, however, agree that the pre-discount price is far too expensive.

I bought 3 of the Continental II cases a couple of years ago and am extremely pleased with them, particularly the Compact, which is a very robust weekend bag with masses of storage space. A real bargain at £35. A similar case (of similar quality) by Samsonite costs £80!

SAMSONITE!! - but paying £200 for something that I would only use once in a while to carry my underwear is not really worth it... i think its more of a status symbol...like designer branding albeit excellent quality

We have some of these TRIPP cases and so far they have been great...better than market stall quality imo!

However no way are they worth their rrp which i am sure only someone who has more cash then sense would pay

For anybody in the North West, there's a Tripp Outlet shop at Cheshire Oaks near Ellesmere Port. Good prices, often cheaper than Debs.
