Is it the Satio that has the same operating system as the 5800? I saw a review of it last week and almost all the menus were the same as my 5800. Which to me would say that you're only paying all that extra money for the camera!!

Are you already with T-Mobile and this is a deal to keep you with them?

I won't get locked in to 18 months contracts, as the networks and tariffs change so quickly, and they lock you in, without letting you alter tariffs, for quite a long time. I'd recommend seeing what they'll give you on 12 months, or also checking out cashback for the same phone and equivalent calls/texts on tmob and other networks.

This is my second 5800. I bought one when they first came out but sold it because I got it cheap and was offered more than I paid. Then got a Nokia N97, horrid phone! Got this 5800 about 3 weeks ago from Mobiles.co.uk on Orange, but phone came unlocked. Love the phone, great for internet. I use iPlayer a lot on it, which comes comes through perfect.

Texting is a breeze with it's QWERTY touch screen. I've heard people slagging off it's touch screen saying it's laggy, well that's crap, mine has never lagged yet.

What you've got as well is the 5800 was one of the most bought phones this year, so will have a lot of followers and applications wrote for years to come.

I think the only phone I'd sell this for now would be an orange iphone, when they're released.

my girlfriend just got similar deal. Nokia 5880 8gb crd with 300mins, 200txts and unlimited internet for 18mths all for £18.00. Very good for her as she doesnt use anywhere near those limits but loves the phone for 'facebook' and the likes using the net. Also good phone for films and music. (and i get £25 for the ref)

Totally agree. I got the 5800 some weeks ago and it's fantastic - so far! The full screen qwerty keyboard is a breeze to use and I've not had any lag. Wish there were more apps on the Ovi store but can't see the Satio being much better other than the camera.

I'm on my second 5800, the speaker packed up on the first one, my second one fingers crossed has been fine, love it, the best phone I've owned! I updated it to the latest firmware and it was much quicker in operation than before.

Whatever you do don't get a LG Arena. I've had it 6 weeks and it's been nothing but a PITA. T-Mobile say if it's faulty I have to take it up with LG, despite them being the ones that supplied me the phone. I guess you can't expect a small company to understand the Sale of Goods Act.
