I think its a price worth paying. Keeps the mrs entertained while I'm on COD or Uncharted

Theres one problem with this deal... the wii is the worst current gen console available, therefore making the £165 a waste of money. My Wii sits under my Television with a PS3 / dreamcast / PS2 / xbox 360 sitting waiting to be played, the problem is there are no good games. Just 10 billion mario clones of mario does this and that, and hundreds of stupid kiddy party games. The decent games are let down by the gimmicky controls and the lack of any decent surround sound output or decent processing power so the framerates are terrible and the games all look like a muddy jagged mess... My Dreamcast games look better. Soon to be released Mario Toilet Cleaning should be an instant hit. Voted HOT for the fact that this is cheap for this console but money is better spent elsewhere. |

Voted HOT for the fact that this is cheap for this console but money is better spent elsewhere. ...get over it sunshine, the wii outsold everything for a very good reason. its not all about polygon power anymore (get with the times), its about playability. as the owner of a pc, xbox 360, ps3, ds, and wii (plus loads of older systems from atari to zx spectrum) i can confirm that the wii has the widest appeal of all and is the most fun by miles. if you are a serious gamer buy a pc, if you are more of a fun gamer buy a wii. There is nothing gimmicky about the controls, they are revolutionary. even pensioners and children are gaming on the wii.
