Paid £18 for a brand new black controller with 2 games earlier this week, I'd hold out for a better deal.

just think of the 2 favourite things to do for boys of around 14-17; gaming and well you know ;) along with the sweat and ... its not most pleasant of buys

Check link to previous post, listed as pre-owned but seem to be split from bundles etc, were originally 960 of the things somehow dont think they are all used trade-ins etc.

I believe £18 was a misprice as they should have been sold as part of a Bundle offer, not everyone got lucky so just giving people options!!

Nope, not a misprice, most have been dispatched now. Zavvi were just a bit rubbish at communication.

Wireless entertainment packs are often sold at knock-down prices, as they're only good for bundling with a console when the games are new. The 'only to be sold with a console' spiel on the packaging is just posturing, it has no legal standing, retailers own the packs and have the right to sell them as they see fit. I've had 3 so far, the Lego Indiana Jones/Kung Fu Panda one from ASDA for £15, the Burnout Paradise/Trivial Pursuit/Connect 4 one from Blockbuster for £20 and the Pure/Lego Batman one from Zavvi for £18

I'd say these offers come around so often that it's not worth buying a controller any other way!

I would never buy a minging second-hand controller...
