* DVD player with hi-resolution PAL progressive scan and component video output
* Co-Axial audio output
* DivX®Playbakc(version6)
* JPEG Viewer
* MP3 playback and USB 2.0

Toshiba's simplest DVD player is perfect for watching pre-recorded DVDs and edited content archived onto writable and re-writable DVD. It produces good quality, stable, progressively scanned video images through its component video connection and great sound is guaranteed with the analogue 2 channel output.

This great little player also lets you playback DivX® video and audio files, the JPEG viewer lets you view all your photo disks on the big screen and MP3 playback lets you play your tunes through your TV.

Toshiba now takes connectivity and simplicity to a whole new level with USB, content can simply be moved onto USB and plugged straight into your player.

"content can simply be moved onto USB and plugged straight into your player"

Ah, but USB WHAT though? The Amazon site ONLY mentions USB Flash sticks! I bought the one from Lidl very recently and it won't touch ANYTHING other than flash sticks & SD cards - no USB HD at all, even powered ones - USELESS, might as well have bought a Victorian magic lantern

The cheapie at Aldi recently can handle just about anything, (but not an HDMI model)

Is this the same?

Looks like your right -USB memory sticks only so a bit pointless unless you have a big one, enough to fit at least a few movies on or alot of smaller ones!
Taken from Toshiba website
'Store all your movies, pictures and music on your USB memory stick. Simply plug in and playback via your DVD player. You no longer need to store all your files on DVD’s & CD’s.'
Also available at Dixons for the same price delivered.
