I doubt they'd throw in the free Panasonic Blu-ray Player which M&S are offering, though.
 That said, I am currently YEARS off even thinking about Blu ray, as I don't often even buy DVDs I am a live TV & PVR watcher and end up not watching most of what I do record! Talking to others (who are mostly well over 21!) I am not alone, no-one I know (even the under 21s!) seems too bothered, as they are pretty happy with DVD quality, and are not even thinking of HD TV until their existing TV gives up the ghost! Everyone was certainly in more of a hurry getting DVD as the quality offered was light years ahead of VCRs, and people felt more of a "need" By the time I do think about BR, I rather suspect they will be equivalent to 30 quid with all bells & whistles, or replaced by something newer still! |
