It sounds great - but £250 for a coffee machine - purely for those with more money than sense.

Probably a bit unfair that it's being voted cold but it really is of limited interest.

I paid £265 for this about a year ago - worth every penny and I use it several times a day. I used to have a manual espresso machine which, to be honest, made just as good coffee but this is less hassle and the coffee costs far less than those crappy tossymo ones.

Good find. Have some heat from me.

Yea I suppose it has, but why vote cold just because you don't like coffee..

Plenty of positive reviews at Amazon at £345

Been looking at one for ages, just thought I would share my findings with other coffee lovers, at least I'm happy

Excellent Post. This price is good. However, I couldn't justify the cost. Bet the coffee is great. Voted hot for this.

I'll vote it hot.
Personally I'm happy with a cafetiere and ready ground.
But fresh beans will always be available, unlike the soppy little plastic pots my sisters machine relies upon, which seem to have gone out of production.
Never been in one myself, but how many starbucks would you need to buy to pay for this?

Good price for this!

I had one of these, but now have an ESAM5400.

I haven't drunk instant coffee for over two years!
