Nasty cheap crap....

So fizz it is for Easter, but whose? Every year, I wade through all the widely available and cut-price Easter bubbles I can get my hands on, including top-dog vintage champagnes. The 45 bottles I tasted this year were, thankfully, a better bunch than usual. Even so, there were some evil, tinny, green champagnes on show, for which there is no excuse, given the run of wonderful vintages we have had of late. So nuls points to Budgens' beery Louis Dubrince Brut, a £17.99 disaster.
