Long time lurker, first time poster!

I have just registered my wedding List with Debenhams in the Belfast store. If you register on line you can choose either a £50 giftcard OR free delivery for each of your gifts. If you set up your list in store you will receive a £75 , free dlivery of gifts and a bottle of bubbly. I asked the nice lady and she said it was only in store, not if you set up online.

I'm sure you have to present proof of some sort of church or registry office booking, otherwise anyone could walk in off the street and scam them, or maybe you don't get it til a certain amount of gifts are bought

We just made an appointment with the Debenhams Wedding Services department and that was all we needed to do to register. We didn't need to bring any proof with us.
I forgot to mention a few little extras, you get 10% off when you pay for items in Debenhams with your wedding giftcard and you also get 20% discount in the cafe until the date of the wedding and vouchers for two free teas / coffees.

Well, the lady said that there was no minimun or maximum number of items. We just added silly price stuff, like yourself, we want cash not trash! (And of course to share precious memories with loved ones )
I got a little note in a wedding invite recently that was good, it said:
'Your presence at our wedding is all that we desire. As we have already set up home and there's nothing we require. But if you wish to give a gift and you're not sure what to do - a financial token would be very kind and very useful too.'

Hi bristolbaz, I just rooted out the 'Order of Service' (terms & conditions) from our list. It says"your £75 will now be given on creation of your list", I just noticed it also says if guests spend more than £1500 you will receive 5% of the total, eg, if guests spend £2000, you will receive £100.
