EXPIRED - Modern Warfare 2 only £44.99 at Blockbuster and £5 off rentals when collected

Was in my local Blockbuster (Darlington) and the guy behind the counter mentioned that Modern Warfare was going to be £44.99 - seems pretty good when places like game/gamestation are advertising it at £49.99 and HMV £54.99. Sounds like they're still taking presales too and I know mines doing a midnight launch.

Obviously, the supermarkets will be selling it at silly prices - but talking to a friend who works for Asda they aren't going to have a great deal of stock.

wow, from blockbuster i preordered the hardened edition for 54.99

44 for the regular one is stupid!

You can reserve at asda just ask at entitainment till or pick up a case from the shelf they give you a till recipt and take you name and phone number you pay nothing and just bring the recipt back on the day of release to pick it up at the release price which as the op says will be good (i hope)

looking at asda's website £44.91, £5 worth of rental vouchers seems to better this...know where im gettin mine from now :D. Oh and the hardened addition is only £54.99 at blockbuster...cheapest ive seen including the supermarkets
