Probably worth paying £949 to get one of the new models from Apple... 21.5" screen, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 3.06GHz Core2Duo + Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard + £60 printer rebate.

and if you're a student in Higher Education (or have a helpful friend who works in a uni) you'll get approx 12% discount. I believe there are also some HE external links around

The new 21.5" imac also has a superior screen technology to the old 20" which gives a wider viewing angle, amongst other benefits.
