EXPIRED - Garmin Personal Navigator - Etrex Legend

The brightly-coloured eTrex Legend combines all of the intuitive, user-friendly features of the eTrex series with a full basemap of the Atlantic and 8 megabytes (MB) of internal memory for storing optional maps. The Legend can receive position corrections from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) and European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS), which makes Legend's already-accurate positioning data even more reliable. In fact, when you turn on WAAS, you can increase the accuracy of Legend's position reporting to within three metres. The Legend's basemap contains lakes, rivers, cities, major roads, railways and coastlines. Legend also comes preloaded with marine navigation aids.

This comes with the default map packs which covers train lines, towns, paths and main roads etc. There are many other maps that are compatible with this device (for fishing, marine use and use in national parks) which are avaliable on the Garmin website and other destinations on the internet
