Not played the CM games in a good few years but was thinking of getting the new one.
Came across this deal for a new copy for under a tenner, next cheapest is £14.99 at Game.
Whats better by the way...This or the football manager ones?

In my and the 20 people that are going to follows opinion, champ man isnt even worth the £4 it was available on direct download for. fm10 = prem, champ man not even Sunday league!!!

if you used to play the old championship managers, the game now is called FOOTBALL MANAGER. The developers Sports Interactive of the old champ mans are now published by Sega under this name.

Ah ok, i used to play the champ manager games for hours on end when i was younger but i think sega bought out the company and renamed it football manager and edios kept champ going with a different team...that right?
So basically get football manager 2010 then?

Football Manager is way to 'lana' (backwards) now. CM is a bit more for the casual player.

download the demo's. I played both and prefer FM over CM... not played a "manager" game in years but can see myself being re-addicted to FM, that just isn't there in CM, not sure what it is but CM lacks it

Me too! And its always getting updated with latest transfers so i prefer it to the newer ones which are way too complicated for me.

ditto. i been playing 01/02 for years but took the plunge and got fm2010 this year.

01/02 was great with the updates but not everything could be done (CL format / transfer window etc) so finally decided to upgrade. only received fm today and have played a couple of games, seems to run pretty quick which is promising as i loved the speed of 01/02.

I heard about the old CM 01/02 being avaliable to download for free. But can't seem to find the links!! Also where do you get the updates from? That is probably my fav PC game of all time lol
