Love or hate Sony this is a very respectable price for this model TV, dont know why it should be running cold.

It is a basic model, which at this size will have the biggest obvious impact. I think it's generally agreed for a TV this big plasma is, at the moment at least, the best way to go in terms of both price AND performance.

However as a deal for this TV it is a really good price. So I guess it depends which one people consider most important. I'm gonna be a fence sitter

yeh usually its follow by the rule, 48" and below LCD 50" and above plasma, but still this price is fairly good consdiering, but a year ago my parents got a 50" plasma for £650 from comet, so i dunnno how this lies in comparison when its lcd and 52"

I think the reality is that there are too many HUKD members not expecting to pay more than a few hundred pounds for a large screen flat panel these days and automatically give the cold vote when pricing hits in and around the grand mark, I wonder how many cold voters actually bothered to check if this post is a keen deal or not. Probably not many I would guess......more than likely just totally lost on the concept that you might have to pay well upwards of £1000 for many models
