JoeUK:
Look who's talking Mr Playstation fanboy.
The iMacs are fantastic computers that (this is the important bit) run OS X - They also come with iLife too. Apple make the computer and the software, so they can get them finely tuned to work really well. What you're saying is you expect a massive engined American muscle car vs a finely tuned Ferrari. You might get more horse power but it's how you use that horse power that matters.
You obviously don't know sh*t about how Apple computers compute. Along with every other wintard that has never used a Mac properly (if at all). You just took one look at the price tag and sniffed at it, instead really looking at the tech side. Again I stress if you don't know how OS X runs and operates then you can't talk smack about the components not being bleeding edge.
i never said they were rubbish........i said their not worth the price.
theres a massive difference between the two.
for the price apple are charging, they should be building gaming computers.
basically the point is that the hardware is not good enough for the price......and that remains a fact.
and call me a fanboy but atleast the ps3 is worth its price from day 1 since blu-ray players cost £300 alone.
apple computers dont have any new technology in them to make them worth over £500.
