Great publicity stunt for so very little cost. I’m guessing the average production costs for a single cup of tea don’t amount to much more than a shilling.

Now if all their meals were sold at 1959 prices, it would be a good deal.

Agreed. A free cup of tea wont make me stop there if I was going past. I'm sure it wouldn't of cost them much to reduce food prices.

Still a decent deal if your driving past today and need to stop for a hot drink.

Why's it called "Watford Gap", when it's nowhere near Watford!
