Buyers should be aware that the quality of BSG on HD-DVD and Bluray is rather awful.
Incredible amount of grain that severely attacks the definition .

I loved this show and for the money on bluray for everything its a bargain though.

best.show.ever.

As mentioned, high definition BSG isn't a spectacular transfer due to the intentional artistic grain and saturated / washed out colours. Personally I don't give a rats about artistic grain, for me high def should be grain free and crystal clear

review

Still a bit too pricy though, particularly as it doesn't have The Plan

The grain is deliberate on the part of the production team; it gives a more gritty retro look apparently.

Please don't be put off by comments like azazaels, it will still look miles better than either Sky or DVD.

Another quick point, I've read this is a limited edition, any truth to that?
