Nice looking phone, dont bank on Topcash or Quid though, just read the reviews for three on their sites!

Three are DIRE.

Learn Indian before dealing with their customer services.

Some quotes from three CS...

"We have the real map that shows coverage... the one on the website is wrong... we can do this as it has a disclaimer on it saying it is not accurate"

"yes there is a problem with your phone... you need to wait until Nokia write a new version of its software before it will work"

"three offers a 14 day period for you to return your phone if you are unhappy with it" (although it says in the terms and conditions that this does not apply if you use the phone)

"when there is no coverage from the three network your phone will drop to the 2g network to make calls" - but overlooked mentioning with their firmware it would only do it manually and stay switched for a couple of mins. So you could only receive calls if you could predict when someone would call you.

"we will refund you for this" - still waiting

After getting hacked off with the indians - I visited their shop and the cowboys said - "we have to call these tossers too to get things sorted - you are best to write to our complaints team in Glasgow"

Only get a three phone if you know someone else who has one of their phones that works in the area you intend to use it. Also of three people including me who got them through Quidco - two tracked - but then were cancelled afterwards.

The only benefit of a three mobile is cheap texts on PAYG which everyone else is catching up with now - but often the coverage is so dire texts take hours to be able to be delivered to your phone.

The skype feature is good - but forget it unless you know there is good coverage in your area.

Messenger software is pretty dire too, requiring clicking through various windows and menu options to send or reply.

So COLD.

To give you an idea of how poor the coverage is - the phone empties a massive 1500mAh battery in just over a day - yet averages 150 mins calls a month.

If you go to the Topcash site and look at the customer reviews for them, it tells a different story! Mine tracked at the full price for three months and then went to zero, like so many othere, and none of us are having any sucess at claiming our money, (at least 50 in the past two months)
(Make sure you keep your receipts, they will not even entertain you unless you can tell the exactly how may a's are in the receipt, and wether it was typed by a Martian or Venutian)

they are listed on quidco as a sure shop approved merchant so lets see if they keep their end of the deal
