Just to add my 2p worth about this brand. Not voting hot or cold.

Bought 2 x 19" with DVD combo of this brand with Windows Vista OEM offer, received both TV and the first didn't even power on, then the next failed just after a day. Called eBuyer customer service (they were very good and friendly) and managed to return the TVs for repair (they don't swap out eventhough they are faulty within 1 week!!).

Got both back, 1 of the TV returned was the wrong model (less the DVD player) and the other had intermitten sound cutting out problems, plus remote doesn't work with DVD player, so I have asked for a refund instead.

Thought I was the only 1, but my friend who also bought 2 on the same offer, both died within 1 month.

Personally, I don't think these are very reliable. I have even left a review on eBuyer with regards to these TV, which they have not even bothered to publish.

Ah, so they are STILL up to that trick, despite numerous claims that they have changed!
I suppose someone will now pop out of the woodwork and defend the censorship again, just like they did in the past

I know how you feel, I almost ordered a Samsung NC10 Netbook it was free shipping until they found out that I lived in NI then added £9.99 shipping so I cancelled.

Ordered the Samsung from Dixons for same price & FREE shipping!!

These are probably garbage. Foehn and Hirsch is ebuyer's own brand, applied to anything they can buy cheap in the Far East. I bought one of their TV's in May and it was DOA - so sent back for a refund. Never found out what the picture was like, but the casing was nasty and cheap.

Foehn and Hirsch is meant to sound German I think. I guess one of the ebuyer managers goes skiing in Austria. A 'Foehn' is a wind that blows down the north slopes of the Alps, and a Hirsch is a deer.
