360 Flashing Help

Hi,

I've tried upgrading my Benq drive from 1.6.to 1.61 using jungleflasher. However, whilst flashing my drive the program crashed whilst writing to bank 2 and now my drive doesn't work. If I try to eject it using the xbox it does not come out and the xbox now gives me an e65 error. Is there any way to recover the drive now?

Thanks for any help.

My setup:
Vista 32bit
Jungleflasher 1.67
Port i/o 32 installed
Via 6421 SATA card

jungleflasher should have backed your key up for you though so all is not probably lost!

When doing mine 18 months ago I was using Iprep on a brand new elite the power went, luckily I managed to write down the key because I use a UPS on my PC so had 15 minutes grace, but it screwed the original firmware up enough that I had to reflash it before doing it again!

if you have the original fw or any fw that has worked, as you have a via card you can always sort out your benq.

so dont worry, even if its erased you can recover with a via card.

(you have to have any old fw that has worked though, and as you should have saved a copy at some point, you should be ok)
