ive been using blackra1n on my ipod touch 3rd gen 64 gb, every time it runs out of battery i need to restore it! then re-jailbreak the touch! any ideas?

updated my 3gs to 3.1 before i realised what i was doing. Had to sell it on as locked it to o2 and needed it to be unlocked. Got a new one, luckily it was still on 3.0 so had no issues unlocking it. Will this defo work without me locking it up? Currently running firmware 04.26.08

Plus what benefits does the 3.1.2 update give?

Still would not work, how ever i got it working

All I did was open up cydia and added the cydia.iphoneil.net repository. Then I installed push fix rebooted my phone and everything worked perfectly.

..'For those with a new iPhone 3GS (updated Bootrom), BlackRa1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use BlackRa1n to boot it.'....

what? how do I avoid this?
Also, once jailbroken, can I access and use AppStore and everything in the usual manner?
