GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Tesco

Ordered a kids vtech camera from the deal on here, collected in store while i was with the kids, got it home and realised they had sent me a flipping pink one (for my son) emailed them Fri and today they have replied finally. Said they can't change as none left in stock , they are sorry for this , that and the other blah! blah! blah! and that they will send a courier to collect if i give them a day and refund me.

I'm not going to wait in all day for a courier.... do i have to? should they refund me now? Or when returend as i need to get another.

Sooooo annoyed!

you can get it returned usually at any tesco extra store.

unless u take it back to store n get a refund there, altho i doubt they will if u ordered online, theres nothing much u can do apart to wait for refund when it gets back to them, just keep the tracking number n keep on to them when it reaches them about the refund

If they won't exchange instore because u ordered online.....take it in to a normal Tesco (that sell blue ones of course) and say ur hubby bought a pink one instead of a blue one could u swap it over. They would generally do this without a receipt and without problem! They know wot blokes are like!!

Just spoke to OH who works at tesco's and he said u should be able to take it back to store as u collected it from store and they should give u a refund, well thats what happens at his store, he also said if u kick up a big fuss they usually give a £10 voucher aswell

GOD you know last time i did that. I took a toy story bed cover back as someone gave us a couple and not the quite shame joy when he already has two to get santa to bring one. Have my receipt etc take it back, scans it and says have you got receipt.. Yeah Yeah hand it over and you know............. She says... thats a shame you have the receipt its gone up £6 since you bought it!!

Oh thats good might try and take it back there, although if they have a blue one in i doubt they would change it as theirs would be more. As long as he gets one i'll be happy

If it's all boxed and new and Tescos are being a pain and won;t swap/refund instore, I'd be tempted to take it to Currys/Boots/Jessops and say your hubbie bought it from their store and got the wrong colur by mistake and would they swap it. It's not as if the store would be missing out as you're just swapping colours.
