EXPIRED - Globe drinks cabinet

POSTED BY: Johnboy_1975 2 weeks, 3 days ago

EXPIRES: 07/11/2009

Looking for £60 for a quick sale. See attached pics, which pretty much speak for themselves. The cabinet is generally in good condition with flip top lid and revolving drinks space inside.

Any questions please ask, and I will try to provide you with answers. Can take more pictures if required

Pick up only please, or you arrange courier. Assume cash on collection but if you arrange courier payment first by bank transfer please.

We are based in the midlands, @ Nuneaton - near Coventry / Birmingham.

Could arrange a meet at a mutually convienient superstore such as Tesco Ricoh arena (Coventry), or Asda (Tamworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester Fosse Park) amongst others

Would consider travelling further in return for a diesel contribution but not driving up to Scotland, lol

I don't know where to look to be honest. Turned it upside downand theres nothing on the base. Nothing that I can see inside either. Any ideas??

This one on ebay (220502155355) is almost identical and the listing reads:

The art work is of Italian design with an old marine map of the world. It has a zodiac design around the equater. The main cabinet revolves for ease of access the drinks bottles. And as you can see it has more art work from latin folklore on the underside of the lid. The bottom tray has artwork from 1763 J.Perre Maitre Poulieur who was a creator of marine nautical compasses.

Can't verify that 100% but the artwork looks the same to me, and the wordning is in latin (I think). Very slight differences to the ebay one include mines got an extra caddy at the bottom which also rotates, I assume this is removable. Obviously its not from 1763 (neither is the one from ebay) but I couldn't say when it was madejnjnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

^^ That would be my 3 year old lad editing my post and then clicking submit whilst I was on the phone LMAO

Bit of a trek for you isn't it, even if you get a car sorted?

I can hold it for you if you have plans to get a car and don't mind picking it up, but I would require a deposit.

OK mate, I guess a courier isn't an option? I've no idea on costs etc but I guess it would be prohibitive, plus packaging it is going to be a pain

Looks like ebay on a 7 day listing is my best bet

Cheers for your interest
