Andy, if I don't like it, I don't like it. I see it as a bit of tat that's gonna end up in the spare room/loft/garage etc a week after xmas.

Agreed, it may be a toy but it still needs to have some level of usefulness. Though good price so not voting either way.

So correct me if I'm wrong, I would be paying £5 for a cup I couldn't use which would sit on my window ledge (or my father's window ledge) doing very little other than essentially just sitting there. I must be missing the point here....

It can still be used as a cup, you just have to be happy to drink out of plastic.
