nice find i always buy the pack of 24 scotch morning rolls from asda there not great but not bad and they are 24 for £1.67(price just went up 17p the dyxjwea) this works out even cheaper then them, perfect for my chest freezer

I remember getting some cakes at night a while back, when they had these offers on. Because it was late at night they'd reduced the price to less than half - but the till still gave me the discount on the full price! I can't remember the exact amounts, but for every two packs I had they were actually giving me money. The assistant didn't seem to realise or care. I went back in and got some more, combined with other goods - because otherwise she would have actually had to pay me

I've also encountered this at the Co-Op - and received the double discount/credit, but when this happened in Morrisons, the assistant called the manageres - and she refused to let me have the full discount on the reduced goods.

It seems none of the supermarket systems handles reduced prices + 2-for-1 at the same time. Probably programmed by an idiot

The best deals are in waitrose when they reduce stuff in 2 for 1 offers etc. They end up paying you to take the products

They've not changed this in years - used to do this in my student days. :D Just make sure they don't owe you anything or it won't work!

For the last couple of years in the local Sains they stick new yellow reduced bar codes over the standard bar code - these scan at the reduced price but then the bogof type offers no longer apply - used to be good but sadly no longer :(
