EXPIRED - Acer Revo R3610, Atom 330 Dual Core - £154.38 + Del *In Stock* @ Microwarehouse

£154.38

376°

FOUND BY: Swift_gti 3 weeks, 1 day ago

This is a repost of a recent deal for these Acers but they are now showing as 280 in stock at the time of writing.
I ordered one before the deal had been posted last time and have just had a dispatch note so it looks like they have had a delivery.

Note these are the R3610, not the R3600 like it says on the site.
They have optical audio and are the Dual Core Atom 330 CPU's.

I would recommend selecting the next day delivery option (it's pretty pricey though!) to try and ensure you get one as they don't seem to allocate stock based on time of order, it's done by dispatch priority.

Just received shipping notification that my unit has shipped from Insight.
I tried to buy from Microwarehouse but web site would not accept my credit card despite the fact I had also used it with PC World web site and they are all part of DSG Ltd. Wierd but other people also reported this problem a couple of weeks ago with Microwarehouse when this deal was first posted on HotUKdeals, so I think they have a web site problem. Maybe they want you to phone to avoid paying cashback !!
I also looked at the Lambda Tek deal but altho' headline said Atom 330 the descripion all said Atom 230 so became suspicious of exactly what they are selling. It is very confusing as they all seem to be called by the generic name of 3600 both with 230 and 330 processors.
Moral is be careful, make sure description says Atom 330 dual core then you can return it as wrong product if thats not what you get.
Insight have taken a couple of weeks to deliver mine but are a known honourable company.
Hope this helps someone

True. Mine from Ballicom has been shipped today, 2 weeks after I ordered! Wasn't that bothered about waiting TBH as I got it on a whim.

Ballicom are currently showing 273 in stock, but they've pushed up the price to £160.99 (inc VAT)

You might want to consider checking out the original deal thread for this one, as it does contain names of other resellers but also links and comments made by those who have managed to purchase them.

I will be ordering one in exactly three hours from now, once the money comes into my bank account - it's going to be running dual-boot with Windows 7 Professional and Windows XP Professional...might chuck on Windows Home Server instead, though if I can find a decent deal for it (a few smaller companies are running with it now so would be handy to get some more exposure to it).

Cheers, Scotty Boy!
