Windows 7 - help
POSTED BY: souljacker 3 weeks, 23 hours agoI put windows 7 on an old laptop but now it's not detecting the wireless or the sound output device.
I presume it needs new drivers or they might not even be compatible with windows 7?
How do i find out exactly the specifications of the wireless adapter and sound card and where i can check if they are compatible?

if you use the cable and connect to the net it will then get about 100 updates which wil sort the rest of your laptop out. how are you connected now??  i'm on my other laptop, as i said this was my old one i updated  |

Do you have any driver disks that came with the laptop? If you do and there are Vista drivers, use those. If you know the make and model of the laptop you may be able to download drivers from the manufacturers website (on another computer of course, or with that Ethernet cable you don't have!). Is there any info about the components in Device Manager? |
