I don't believe this is true LED as such. I'm sure this is only an LCD screen with LED backlighting.

This is a 6-series Samsung LED-backlit LCD TV.

There was some heavy discounting on the 6-series about 2 months ago, as it's been discontinued (I believe, am open to correction) when they introduced the 8-series.

Not too sure it's such a good price for a 32", even considering the picture quality (which is astounding, I'll gladly admit).

Seems to me it's only led backlight if i am reading it correctly. Look here
