Curry's have a special offer on the LG 37LH3000 LCD TV for £399 (Its definately online, I dont know if its instore as well). Originally priced @£549 and the cheapest I can find it elsewhere online is about £449. If you use Quidco, you get 3% back (as long as it tracks), bringing the total down to £387. This includes free standard delivery.

TV seems to have good reviews:

You can't quote the price after potential Quidco discounts, as these are not guaranteed.

AVForums have a discussion about some problems, but they are supposed to have been resolved at the beginning of the year. My brother has one and its top notch

Yes, I have the same problem. To fix it, you need to go to the bottom of the page and untick the "Logick 1.8Meter TV and Audio Leads and Accessories". You can get the TV into the shopping cart then . I have no clue what cables are included (most have a cheap scart/hdmi cable, but you should seriously look at upgrading to get the best out of the TV - IMHO)

There is supposed to be a code - 5D300, if you go via quidco, that actually gets you 5% off the final price. However it doesnt seem to be working. This is only for reserve and collect. and should expire on the 11/11/2009. In theory if this was working 399-5%=379. Good luck!

ooo, looks nice. http://www.testfreaks.co.uk/tvs/lg-42pq3000/ gives its solid rating. And it is 5" bigger!!!!

Good article on which.co.uk (LCD vs Plasma) http://www.which.co.uk/advice/lcd-vs...-tvs/index.jsp. Having owned both, I prefer LCD's for marginally better power consumption. But you cannot sniff at a 42"er!

Good luck... I could not get the 42" past the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor)... apparently too big for the lounge.... My theory is that if it fits through the door, size is not an issue! Let us know how you get on.
