Wasn't this £5 at EA Store a couple of weeks ago?

EDIT: It was.

Given that it's been cheaper recently and the bad timing (Dragon Age is out tomorrow) it doesn't strike me as a particularly good deal.

I can't say I noticed any problems when I played it a few months ago.

Personally I'd rather have it on Steam then EA Downloader. I bought this as it was recommended else where but this is definitely hot!

Whether this was cheaper on EA before or not - this is still a great price for an epic game. Heat added for anyone that hasn't had the pleasure of playing this yet. I have this on Xbox already however so Steam will not be draining my wallet this weekend like it usually does!

Be aware that if you have Realtek HD Audio on your PC this may be unplayable. Since launch it has had a bug where not all sounds get played or you get popping and cutting out. I bought it and have given up trying to play it as its very difficult in a fire fight when you cannot hear your own gun firing.

is there a set amount of times and period of time that you can download games purchased from steam like the ea downloader?

No. There's no limit. But it's best if you always have Steam connected to the internet. You can set it to offline mode, but I've always found it to be a bit tricksy.

This is a steal by the way - I paid ten quid for this on steam a few weeks ago! To be honest, I didn't find the main baddy all that threatening - but there's plenty of opportunity to be a complete jackass. This video shows a few of these opportunities. Warning, it contains minor spoilers, though no major plot ones.

EDIT: Oh, and there's also the hot girl on girl action that proved controversial with people who hadn't played the game at all..

There's no limit on the EA Downloader either, they've removed that now (at least for new games, I'm not 100% sure about mass effect).
