Can we have a maximum amount of Call of Duty threads

When GTA4 was released, the boards were flooded with "Another GTA4 thread", the same with FIFA 10.

It's already started with COD modern warfare 2.

Shall we just report all these duplicate(x 100) threads, or spam them?

I agree, COD is just overhyped anyway, and im surprised that most of the threads are not about the incredibly overpricing of it, as if it was any other game people would be boycotting it within seconds.

since I have to put up with countless word game threads, chat threads that are filled with the exact same members saying the exact same things everday, and countless other dross in misc I think those of us interested in dissecting every facet of this game should be allowed a few days of wallowing in cod before we go off and spend the next 2 months shooting fat yanks leaving the misc to bask in the creepy flirt and word game threads.

last MW2 thread I seen was about 4 hours ago......

dont see what your issue is with them? There doesnt seem to be loads of them so why not just do what everybody else does when they see a thread they are not interested in, ignore it and move to another thread that does interest you?

No point in spamming the thread as that will just encourage more people to post the same thread again......if it bothers you that much and you think you have a valid reason to dispute its existence then follow the rules that the mods repeat to "us" many times on a daily basis....and that would be to report the thread......

Pretty much this

The other thing to bear in mind is that many of the threads have been moved from deals to Misc (quite rightly) by the Mods. Given that this will be over next week, leave them alone and they will burn themselves out...............bit like the "I got a mispriced Elite from Amazon" threads....

Personally I welcome Call of duty threads and think the OP should just STFU. He seems very quick to qoute "if if doesn't interest you, just ignore it". Maybe preach and Practice could be mingled together?

One thing for sure, they are far more welcome than the daily trolling threads posted about fantasy lives.
