BACKUP OLD VHS TAPES / CAMCORDER TAPES TO DVD!

But now my friends it's clear, tapes have failed, their final curtain.

VHS, I've had a few, to many to mention,

I've got a draw that's full, I've even taped my Granny's birthday.

But more much more than this, I taped my boyfriend.

Tech Spec:

Belkin USB VideoBus will allow you to transfer all those home videos to a digital format on your PC. So you can clear out all those old VHS tapes and keep all your favorite films forever. Likewise if you want to connect a video camera to your home computer to transfer the files for editing - then you can do all of that as well.

Just ordered 2 of these, one for me, and one for my old man. got loads of vhs tapes i want to have on dvd!! now i can for a chaeap price!

how good tho, wouldnt be the first time that something selling for £40 on another site has struggled to get a fiver on ebay

"Capture Resolution - 352 x 288"

I wouldn't use a device only capable of 352 x 288 to capture. VHS has poor horizontal resolution, but still has 576 scan lines - this capture device throws away half of them, making those old tapes look even worse than they already are. Even at this price, it's pretty bad. Better off with something like the Easycap found on ebay or dealextreme (caps at 720x576), or shell out for a standalone DVD recorder.

I think this is a great price to copy some old home movies, I ordered one this morning, once I've copied the handful of tapes I've got I'll pop it on ebay to try and get a few pennies back - good deal - hot from me!
