IMO, the sky player is useless, a load of crap channels and only the uk made (crap 99% of the time) content from sky one.

Complete crap, and i get it free!

I am so annoyed with the Sky player, I have a Silver membership but I am a Sky customer so I should be able to watch this. But the SKY player is only available to GOLD members, simply rubbish.

I bet they have 10 times more silver members than GOLD memebers why would they want to limit the SKY player to GOLD members. If you are a gold member you probably will be playing multiplayer games and not watching sky. I do not get it.

I am sure they could make a lot more money if they open the sky player to all the members.

I guess I will keep watching Sky through my SKY box and not the XBOX

LOL at 'silver member' .. you sould say you own an xbox rather then making out you're a special xbox live customer... Like others suggest.. lash out and get gold for £28 or even better, grab this deal and get yourself 3 months, plus remote plus voucher for 3 months Sky.. heck i'd probably buy the 3 months access off you for £10 - £15!

No as i am not paying sky another penny, £50 a month is plenty! Besides quality of sky player was shocking when i downloaded it,BBC iplayer on PS3 is great quality and thats free.

This looks intresting, but im a little confused. I have an xbox live gold membership, and we have sky aswell but not on a subscription (just the free channels). Also the sky box thingy is in the main room not in the room with the xbox and stuff. So what would i need to do to take advantage of this? i really only want sky sports!

oops ok I might have gone wrong with my estimates, but besides that I still think Sky player should be available for everyone.

Let's say that I wanted to pay to watch SKY Sports or a particular game I can not do it because I am not a GOLD member, why would they want me not to do it, is that not limiting their profit?
