Comes in at £99.33 including delivery but still very good value. I've queried the delivery charge with M&S as their homepage states that this order involves free delivery. If the delivery charge is removed then the price will be even less than £99 as M&S price with 17.5% VAT and then discount to 15% at the checkout.

Good price, though its only a few quid more on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-BDP3.../dp/B0026WNDV8 - anyone got one? Has it got decent speed, heard some BDs take ages to load on certain players?

Seems to get a good review here. The review claims 33 seconds to load up SpiderMan 3 - which it says is good. I don't have a blu-ray so wouldn't know what's fast and what isn't.

M&S have now taken off the delivery charge so the final price is now £95.83, the guarantee has been confirmed as 5 years too. In addition I was able to use a M&S Premium Club code to have 500 bonus points (£5 equivalent) credited to my account

From the link above...
Trusted Reviews:
Frustratingly, this USB port can't be used to play back digital media, so any MP3, WMA, DivX or JPEG files you want to play have to be burned onto DVD or CD first. Interestingly the deck can also play hi-def WMV files but with limited success - we got a gorgeous hi-def picture but no sound, and with certain files playback is very jerky.

Thanks Mike, yes seems decent for a budget BD player, PS3 is a bit quicker I think but yes some discs do take around that time. Cheers.
