Good price but I'd rather spend another 50p and get free range.
Iceland do 6 large free range eggs for £1 and Aldi do 6 x medium for 99p
Heat added nevertheless, as I'm not so stupid to vote cold just because I only have free range.

If you care for the chickens don't buy large eggs. They are force-grown through feed supplements (even free range) and hurt the chickens.

If you walked past a caged hen and the owner asked 50p for its eggs..would you pay up?
I saw a performing bear in China... it looked good to me so I paid £50.... is that the sort of thing you would say?

When it's only chicken/eggs then it really doesn't matter.

If it was cheaper than the £60 the other bear performer was charging then it was a DEAL. This site is about deals not morals. I choose free range eggs but I don't think it's my job to tell other people what they should choose.

I'm sorry but i couldn't eat eggs - even if they are cheap - from a caged hen kept in those conditions - it's one thing i don't mind paying a few pence more for

Utter Cobblers! You must be a Daily Mail reader!!!

Our Chickens wander around the farm, laying eggs at their free will and they're bigggggg eggs. If you want to buy free range, DON'T go down to Iceland, Netto etc....Go & support your local farm & buy from there.
