Mmm.
tempted with this been looking for a zoom lens for a while but was thinking of getting a old minolta of ebay but this seems good with the cashback.
I was hoping to get a macro lens though but for this price new...
found 2 good reviews on the comet website

Can anyone confirm that the discount applies to Laskys as looking at the sony form that you have to complete for the cashback is states at participating stores?

I used the previous Sony Cashback Offer on a Flash I'd bought from the Argos Clearance store on Ebay and it went through fine.

The Terms state:
"The cashback is not available on product which has not been supplied and distributed by
Sony United Kingdom Limited within the UK and Republic of Ireland. Please check with your
dealer to ensure your product is eligible before purchasing to avoid disappointment."

Excellent deal, cheers abzorba :¬)

I have just received my lens, it is excellent. There wasn't any paperwork in the box about the Sony cashback offer so I printed off the pdf.
Quick question though, they are asking you to include a "European Guarantee Information Document" , what is this, have tried googling it but no joy so have just printed off the Laskys - About us page which gives their address & thatt they are a European company, do you think this will be sufficient. Cheers guys.
