Spar Value Bacon Pieces 300g half price @ 44p

£0.44

28°

FOUND BY: lickylonglips 2 weeks, 1 day ago

Just been to my local Spar (DIckson Road, Blackpool) and they have their pre-pack value bacon pieces (300g) for half price. They're just 44p. This makes them 67p / lb. or £1.47 / Kg. Probably better suited for making soups, stews, pasta sauces or pies than for sandwiches, etc., but still a cracker of a deal. Should be nationwide and not just a local offer (as mine is usually as dear as can be and rarely has decent offers)

I use these for my soup too, used to buy them in Asda but they've gotten so expensive, might wander to the spar to get this, been wanting to make a pot of soup for agessssss.

It's a wonder they sweep up scraps of bacon off the floor, package it, get it to the shop, sell it for 44 pence and still make a profit.

This is not a national Spar deal.

Spar is actually separated into a number of regions, each region carries a national set of promotions but they also have their own local promotions.

Blackpool will be supplied by James Hall and son ltd who cover the north of england. This may be a store specific promotion or it may be one of James Hall's local promotions.

Once you get down to around Chester and North Wales then you hit AFBlakemores spar distribution area and this deal is not part of their promotions for this period

About 90% of spars are individually owned so it is very difficult to make a sweeping generalisation based upon work experience in one individual store.

Well, if it's not a national deal, it's definitely in DIckson Road, Blackpool, and I would suggest you buy some before I buy them out!!!

4 years for the company. But yes I agree.

I still think it sucks though.
