EXPIRED - 7ft Cluster Pine Slim Christmas Tree @ boffer £15.98 delivered

£15.98

FOUND BY: hargreavescarl 2 weeks, 15 hours ago

EXPIRES: 07/11/2009

Christmas trees have been a symbol of Christmas since the 7th Century, when an English monk went to Germany as a missionary and used it`s shape to explain the holy trinity. By the 12th century middle Europe was hanging Christmas trees upside down in the house, hence the modern and quite frankly daft idea of upside down trees.

In Britain Christmas trees became popular when Queen Victoria`s husband Albert introduced them to Windsor Castle. We finally put electric lights on them in the 20th Century, thirty years after the Americans, artificial trees found there way into our homes in the 1950`s.

Quite frankly I wouldn`t have bothered writing the above if it wasn`t for the fact that tonight`s Boffer is a Christmas tree. I did think of saying something amusing about fairies on the top, or dangling baubles, but I`m not going to because that would be childish, children are mentioned far to much at this time of year and seeing as they cost a fortune I`m going to stay well away from anything to do with them, mind you I`m lucky I don`t have any children but I am a child. Actually I`m 23 but at this time of the year I remind my parents that I`m THEIR child and seeing as there`s no grandchildren they may as well spend all of their hard earned cash on me. Actually the old buggers are retired so they don`t even earn their cash so I don`t even feel guilty. Anyway take a look at tonight`s Boffer coz it`s a belting good 7ft Christmas tree.

Buy one if you haven`t got one and if yours is a crappy, dusty, knackered old thing in the loft buy one anyway coz ours is much better.

Stop looking at the price because it`s pretty good and anyway it`s Christmas so stop being a tight old scrooge.

Seems like a great deal. I need to get my first xmas tree this year. I'd want to see this one in the flesh first before I ordered though. I always think if something is to good to be true...

what are the "pines" like? would there be plastic paper strips and firm realistic pines?

i would agree, but these guys selling the trees sell bankrupt stock off cheap, i have no doubt that the quality will be good, and even if not, stick it outside your house with a 20 quid price ticket on!!
