Looks like a good price for a decent brand, pity it's not online.

Agreed - now I'll need to look for one of their shops!

I've had one for a couple of years. Reasonable quality but as said above the plastic keyring loop bit is a bit nasty. Also write speeds are much slower than my Crucial overdrive so good for occasional use but not so great for regular moving of files in a hurry.

Had one for 2 years now and it's still fine, cheap, not fast as mentioned but perfect for MP3s for the car

Just got 2 x 8GB after trying to convince the sales assistant to do a price check. Brilliant offer and still the sticker shows the original price of £19.99

Note that Windows ReadyBoost in Windows 7 can be used with these as I have just found out, just sped up my video encoding :D

I think the staff are going to whip these up :P

So I replied " well the Mansfield or the Sutton branch,Can you ring them? " NO she said.....We have'nt got thier number!!!! it ll be 118 for that. They're good quality memory, and much safer than buying off the net (there's currently an epidemic of fake memory about). I had this style in 2GB, and I must say that they are slower than other Kingston sticks, and they don't take kindly to rough handling - loop breaks and it's easy to bend the plug where it enters the plastic body, and the body easily splits lengthways. Maybe I'm just too careless. I think Kingston have phased out production of this casing.

OTOH, you'll actually get the size you pay for, unlike eBad. Also The cap also clips onto the end of the stick, which I really like.

Thooght they had to be quite fast for readyboost?

Ihave eboostr on my Xp system wita a fast 2gb sandisc...still not sure if it has much effect. Only thing i've noticed is PS CS2 sometimes LAGS a few seconds if doing something new !

maybe the reason for the reduction...selling through a poor design @ good discount.
