can i just say to folk ( even if those you have Samsung don't agree) if making a Samsung tv purchase please consider buying a surround sound or at least external speakers..Samsung are renowned for not having great sound quality despite the picture kickin ass generally....just an fyi.

Cold for me, your better off paying an extra 100 quid for a 42 inch LG tele, at least it'd be full HD and a good cont rat.

As Makro sell to businesses, I can imagine there's next to no support if anything goes wrong, for you if you're a standard home customer, using someone else's membership card.

I'd prefer to pay a little more, get this or something similar from, and add 10% to the price at Richer Sounds, and get a 5 year warranty. I have no clue if Rsounds do this tv, but I'd not want to be left high and dry with a broken tv set. I'm guessing that consumer laws are less protective if you buy something identifying yourself as Business Customer.

It has been £300 at Richer for months as well as other places online

The 450 model is fractionally more expensive elsewhere (£310)
