Travelling to Disneyland Paris

I can never understand why anyone would choose Paris over Florida.

I'd probably go eurotunnel if I were you, I recently flew from Glasgow to CDG and it costs about €15 each by train (how I got to disney) or disney bus (how I got back to CDG) to get from CDG to disney, but its not atall well signposted how when you get to CDG so be prepared for some "parlez vous anglais" (do you speak english!)

if you stay in a disney hotel (certainly in the santa fe I stayed in) they have daily excursions into paris .... unfortunatley I didnt realise this until my last day so dont know how good/bad they are!

We have a 3 year old and can't afford Florida and got the inclusive meal deal!

it makes the daily excurisons into Paris a lot more longwinded when staying in Florida!

..... also a lot of people with young kids wont want to take a 10 hour flight .... I know I didnt, plenty of time for that in the future. doing eurodisney first then america is definatley the best way as if you do america then euro euro will obviously seem crap by comparison.

My family fly from bristol to charles airport every year to do to disneyland paris.
It takes about 45mins but most of that is boarding etc.

My french family though do not fly, they choose to drive from paris to wales twice a year to visit us.
They do not bring children and said they wouldnt drive or tunnek it with kids... it would be a nightmare

I was more wondering how you would get from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris without it costing too much?

Fifteen euros on the coach which picks you up outside the airport. it takes just under an hour and picks you up the other end. We went last year. best way of doing it!

Agreed re Paris and 10 hour flight but there is so much more to do in Florida, not forgetting the weather! I've never priced Paris up but from what I hear the price difference is negligible.

You can get the Disneyland Shuttle (called VEA Navettes) for 16 Euros per adult and 13 Euros per child (under 3 is free) takes about 45 minutes. Click for Link
There is the option of the Eurostar which takes 10 minutes but is expensive, about 40 euros,
The cheap but very long winded way is using the RER which can take up to 2 hours LINK

When are you going? I'll be there in February half term.

i was giving you an answer why people to paris rather than florida . i wanna go for two nights before christmas. thats about £500 including park passes, hotel stay and meals for 5 of us which is a bit expensive though (not compared to florida, just in general) cos we still need to pay for transport to and from etc.

We're going on 8th March - looking forward to it but not wanting to break the bank! We're staying at the Santa Fe, cheap and cheerful!
