Portsmouth to northern Spain is a bit rough that time of year.
Across the Bay of Biscay in December, people would pay good money for a ride like that at Alton Towers, I did it last December, stayed in the cabin most of the way, standing up seemed to be a problem, but the Captain did apologise for the rough seas, the last half hour was quite smooth
