Any spider keepers here?

thinking of getting a pet spider ,just sending pm about this one-

will it scare a few pet cats of or will it get eaten?
anyone have any as dont know anything about them and got rid of the little rabbit a few weeks ago
dont know why i want one as use to squish spiders as didnt like them :)

Wow who took the photo? its dated 2006 and they say they have had the spider just over a year.

If you got a rabbit and then got rid of it soon after, and don't know why you want a spider...perhaps you should have a pet rethink.

good point although have pet cats aswell which wanted the lil bun for lunch when it was out and didnt get on with the other rabbit

For your sake, and the sake of any potential spider, They are not as easy as snails to keep, lol, not even in same league...
You need to do some reading up ;)

Do lots of reading up first. I used to keep Avicularia versicolor and our cats didn't seem bothered about them as the spiders were in the vivarium all the time.

I hated spiders and got spiders to cure the fear. Got to like spiders and hate crickets.

Getting an adult spider will be much easier to deal with than a baby spider.

Spiders are a bit like goldfish.
