Was given some money to spend for our engagement and found this great slow cooker for only a tenner!! Amazing value.

This slow cooker comes in a brushed steel effect with a glass lid and features a 3.3L capacity. The 190W slow cooker has 3 heat settings, non slip feet and is dishwasher safe.

Great idea so you can home to a lovely warm stew now the nights are drawing in!
It was available instore at our big Tescos at Shoreham in West Sussex and is advertised on the Tescos Direct site. Felt great when I lifted it and inspected it. Not flimsy but also not so heavy you need a weight lifter to help you.
Hope it is a good buy for someone!
Be gentle - first proper post!

Only problem I have is no timer, so a pain if you work long hours. I use mine all the time though, love it

Got this it is fab! Easy to wash up as well. Has been available at this price for ages. If it is too small you can get a larger version in Sainsbury's although not sure of the price.

Serves 6
Cook for 4 - 41/2 hours
Cook on low

Butter for greasing
900ml (1 1/2 pints) full fat milk
75g pudding rice
75g caster sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence

grated nutmeg for sprinkling and cinnamon (lots for us!)
extra thick cream an red berry jam to serve

Method
Brush cooker pot with buttter, pour milk into saucepan, 'bring just to boil then pour into cooker pot

Add rice, sugar, vanilla essence, Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Cover with lid and cook on low for 4 - 41/2 hours dont leave to cook longer than this or the milk will begin to separate.

Serve with cream and jam on top.

I dont think the recipe serves 6, more 4 good portions

Fantastic for porridge.

Put it on low at about midnight (use a plug in timer if you want (really cheap 3 pack in Ikea)) and wake up to the house filled with the smell of hot porridge. Lovely.
