I read on the true blood dvd reviews that the books are nothing like the tv show. Just thought i'll say. I like the show, apart from the sexy bits, there is no need for them, they should have left them out i think

Yeah. The books are better. Far more "needless" sexy bits

Whsmith are offering the same box set for £26, saying it will be released on 12th Nov. Hoping that it will come from Amazon on the 12th but seems like the release date keeps getting pushed back. Hope it comes soon otherwise I may crack and buy them individually for £29 from amazon. Seems a waste of money but I am impatient! Doesnt help that the 9th book has arrived so trying to not to read that before the others!

Date been pushed back to 24-30th Nov dispatch. That was enough for me - cancelled and reordered separately. Lost myself about 3 or 4 quid but I feel better now
