Currys: Unofficial PS2 Controller £2.97

£2.97

20°

FOUND BY: minimal_fuss 2 years, 8 months ago

Just went into Currys and they have unoffical PS2 controllers for £2.97, PCworld will price match if you ask.

There were around 20 of these in my local Currys so there's probably plently everywhere, thought it was worth pointing out though.

Cheers,
Ben.

Thanks for the post minimal_fuss. Can I ask members to please give a brief reason for cold votes? As this is a relatively new member, he's probably wondering why the icy reception Have you spotted these cheaper elsewhere for example?

I haven't voted cold (nor hot) but I can give you reasons - they are unofficial and no doubt poor quailty and remember you get two controllers (with guarantee) when you buy the console new - so who really needs more.
also, even if you want it as a PC gamepad then you need to pay (at least) a fiver for a bulky adapter. you can easily buy a PS2-like controller (direct USB) for about eight quid; so there's no real saving.

i paid 97p for mine , ideal for the kids as they are small and good for tiny hands , they also have loads of other swag at either 97p or 47p as ps3 is being launched , good for spares if ya have kids who are heavy handed lol

Managed to get A ps2 + big quiz/buzzers + singstar/microphones for 89.99 before Xmas, but, it only had one controller. If this is the same one as was posted last week - Madkatz, and it had the dvd remote with it as well. When the item went through the till it was 47p. Hey for that price i don't mind if it only last a couple of months
